About HFC

Established in 1998, Help For Children [HFC] has grown from a single fundraising event in NYC to a global foundation that operates in 12 cities in 7 countries. HFC has just one overriding mission: the prevention and treatment of child abuse. Over the past 20 years, we have distributed close to $50 million in grants to organizations who protect and heal children.

The growth of our foundation across the United States follows the path of Christian’s run. Within the United States, HFC has branches in Atlanta, Boston, Chicago, Denver, New York and San Francisco. Your
support of Christian’s endeavor will further our goals of keeping children safe and treating the trauma of abuse.

HFC and Christian were first introduced when he was preparing to run the 2017 Tortola Torture. After Christian ran those grueling 34 miles on behalf of HFC, we recognized the power of linking an endurance feat with overcoming the trauma of abuse - and Run2Heal was born.
